Together, we traveled to Japan and were captivated by the lush tea farms of Kyoto, where we experienced firsthand the care and precision that goes into growing and crafting premium matcha. One of our most unforgettable experiences was learning the entire process—from farming and harvesting to grinding sencha to create matcha powder—from a 16th-generation tea master. Guided by this master’s expertise, we gained a deep appreciation for every step of the journey that transforms a simple leaf into the vibrant green powder we love.
